About the role:
The primary purpose of the position of Quality Assurance Co-ordinator is to:

  • Perform quality assurance assessments (QA) and tests on new products, to ensure all products are fully functional against specification prior to release, including uploading access codes and relevant software/firmware.
  • Load software onto hardware, program, and thoroughly test each product.
  • Perform quality assurance assessments and tests on products subject to warranty claims from customers.
  • Liaise with companies to lodge and finalise product warranty claims via the Return Material Authorisation (RMA) process.
  • Assisting other departments to resolve quality and process issues, including incorrect parts orders, missing software codes and sourcing replacement parts.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on quality assurance procedures to ensure that they are aware of and follow established quality standards

Technical skills: 

  • Ability to interpret technical documents, specifications and user manuals to ensure that products meet the defined specifications.
  • Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards.
  • Ability to identify and address defects, deviations, and monitor products that do not meet compliance.
  • Record and communicate quality-related issues using various metrics such as the number of defective products identified per month and recommend improvements.
  • Maintaining currency with technical requirements that apply to the products or services.

Qualifications:

  • Background and knowledge in Electronics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Keen interest in continuous learning and professional development.
