Leadership role, global organisation across a broad range of functional ingredients, dry & wet blending and multiple processing technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for product development & applications for all technology across all major End Use Market, customers and channels.
  • To manage and deliver the execution of active projects to meet the strategy and growth targets.
  • Responsible for product development from initiation to launch. Interacts with process engineers, ingredient experts, sales staff, marketing and End Use Market team, suppliers, manufacturing, customers, packaging and marketing specialists to resolve problems.
  • Play a key role as Technical lead for key accounts, and remain as the main contact to drive customer intimacy.
  • Use sound commercial and technical awareness of our ingredients, processes and customer requirements to deliver `right first time’.  
  • Have a strong understanding of raw materials, solid formula design and process know how across hot and cold processing techniques. Understanding of packaging fundamentals.
  • Combining a clear understanding of customer needs and technical expertise in order to formulate innovation initiatives.
  • Evaluating the existing product portfolio; determine where enhancements may be made to create best-in-category products.
    • Recommend and screen all potential raw materials necessary to build raw material libraries to support development.
    • In alignment with the regional leadership team and global R&D stakeholders, appropriately select and prioritize projects that add the most value to customers.
    • Assignment of resources – people and budgets.
    • Tracking of project progress relative to milestones and launch dates.


  • Minimum 10 years experience, direct reports, people management.
  • Degree qualified in either / or Food Science, Science or Microbiology.
  • Multi stake holder engagement.
  • Client interfacing.
  • Performance, KPI and people management exposure.
