About the Company

The company is an expanding cosmetics and personal-care brand, committed to growing locally and internationally. They are currently seeking a Regulatory Affairs Manager, to drive compliance and policy adherence across all departments.

The Role

Working with the Executive Leadership Team and external business partners, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and reviewing company regulatory practice organisation- wide.
Some of your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Manage global regulatory compliance for products within American, European, and wider Asian markets
  • Review current company regulatory operations, and generating recommendations for appropriate alteration
  • Develop, implement and maintain regulatory policies and registration for new products
  • Act as a company representative for external regulatory bodies in all correspondence, audits, inspections, and product recall processes
  • Provide ongoing guidance and training to various departments regarding regulatory practice, and monitoring departmental compliance on a regular basis
  • Liaise with the legal team to provide insights regarding relevant legal depositions and other matters
  • Prepare and submit relevant applications, reports, and correspondence
  • Research and maintain awareness of ongoing industry trends and best practice


About You

As the ideal candidate for this role, you will have:
  • Tertiary qualifications in science, cosmetics / pharmaceutical, or business-related studies
  • Minimum five years’ previous experience within a similar role
  • Previous experience managing global regulatory operations within the consumer goods market, with personal care or cosmetic product experience desirable
  • Outstanding leadership and communication skills
  • Advanced computer literacy, and competency working with compliance software and databases
  • Strong problem- solving skills
  • Proven knowledge of industry best practice, trends, and future directions
