Quality & Compliance Manager

We’re partnering with a highly regarded, community-based aged care provider to appoint a Quality & Compliance Manager — a pivotal role focused on strengthening quality outcomes, governance, and regulatory alignment across a multi-site organisation.

This is an opportunity to step into a values-driven environment where care is deeply personal, standards are high, and quality is viewed as an enabler — not a function of enforcement. We’re looking for someone who brings deep expertise in aged care legislation and standards, but who leads through influence, education, and collaboration rather than a “regulator” mindset.

Working closely with the Executive and broader leadership team, you will play a key role in embedding sustainable systems, uplifting capability, and ensuring the organisation remains confidently aligned with all regulatory expectations.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and embed a practical, organisation-wide quality and compliance framework aligned to aged care standards
  • Translate complex legislation into clear, actionable guidance that teams can confidently apply
  • Drive continuous improvement through data, insights, and meaningful engagement with teams
  • Partner with leaders to build capability, accountability, and audit readiness across the organisation
  • Strengthen governance, risk management, and reporting to support confident decision-making at all levels

You will bring:

  • AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with no notations
  • Demonstrated experience in quality, risk, or compliance within aged care or a similarly regulated environment
  • Strong working knowledge of aged care legislation, standards, and regulatory expectations
  • Experience with audits, accreditation processes, and regulatory engagement
  • The ability to influence, coach, and bring teams on the journey — not simply enforce compliance
  • Strong analytical capability and the ability to translate data into meaningful action

This role requires someone who can confidently navigate complexity, engage stakeholders at all levels, and maintain a calm, solutions-focused approach in high-accountability environments.

If you’re passionate about elevating care through strong systems, meaningful engagement, and a culture of continuous improvement — and you’re ready to make a genuine impact without needing to “play the regulator” — we’d love to speak with you.
